Lucas, who fought bravely for 18 months, inspired all who knew him. The son of Sansan and Hide, Harashima, and brother to Kai, he always offered plenty of joy, smiles, and mischief.
A first-grader at Pound Ridge Elementary School, he was well-known by his friends and community for his love of sushi and Minions.
In addition to his parents and brother, Lucas is survived by grandparents Yuriko Harashima, Ann and Gary Chen; aunts and uncles: Machiko and Drew Foxman, Riye and Patrick Norris, Geraldine Chen and Corin Bowman and cousins: Miles, Skye, Ellie, Laci, Clark, Melia.
"We are comforted in knowing Lucas is at peace," his family said in his obituary. "He is in a place of only beauty and love, a place where he is completely healed and free of cancer. He will remain forever in our hearts, and in all our moments of joy."
All are invited, including children, to a service to honor Lucas from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, March 25 at the Cassidy-Flynn Funeral Home, 288 E Main St, Mount Kisco. Those who wish to share words will have a chance from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m.
